About the business

Nepcha, is a Hong Kong-based tea company with a commitment to sourcing high-altitude speciality tea directly from farmers’ cooperatives in Nepal. The company's name represents its vision to unite the diverse cultures of Hong Kong and Nepal through tea, with "NEP" referencing Nepal and "CHA" referencing tea in Cantonese. NEPCHA offers crafty artisanal tea curated by leading and talented tea makers who have dedicated their lives to perfecting teas.

What's unique?

Nepcha is committed to sourcing the finest teas produced using only organic farming practices in high-altitude regions. The orthodox method of processing teas is employed, with most processes done manually, from plucking delicate buds to rolling. This results in unique tea flavours that are unmatched. Teas from high altitudes are harvested only four times a year due to lower yield but give concentrated compounds and flavours, unlike commercial tea estates that give yield every 15-20 days. Nepcha is dedicated to sourcing teas from both certified and non-certified organic farmers, to meet the rising demand for certified products. With three broad categories of teas - Pure tea varieties, Blended herbal teas, and herbal teas, Nepcha is committed to providing its customers with a unique tea experience that is both organic and sustainable.
