Operating from 8 am to 1 am, Punjab Barbers is a traditional barbershop that offers various services, from haircuts and trimming services to hair curling, perms, and treatment. One of the owners, Papu, came to Hong Kong in 2011. He primarily caters to Indian and Pakistani communities and is well-known as one of the best traditional barbers in the Jordan area. Before opening Punjab Barbers, he worked at a barber shop for over a decade before opening his own business in 2024. With high versatility and skilled workers, Punjab Barbers has swiftly earned a devoted following of customers.
What's unique?
Even though there are many barber shops in the area, Punjab Barbers still retains a loyal following of customers ranging from Nepalese, Indian, and even local clients. Punjab Barbers offers unique services like hair perms, curling, and treatments that other barbershops don’t often provide. Furthermore, Papu’s traditional skill sets are from India. On the same street, only one other barber is skilled with scissors. Since other Pakistani or Indian barbers are trained in Hong Kong techniques, they cannot work well with scissors. Papu’s skill with scissors makes his barbershop well-preferred by older people.
