Mosaic Art Studio

At Mosaic Studio, Hong Kong people experience Türkiye’s culture through hands on art workshops, mosaic lamp making, Ceramics painting, Ebru painting, and Turkish coffee ceremonies. It was founded by Musa, an accomplished artist, and Ibrahim, an expert in operations and business in 2019 with a vision to bring the beauty of traditional Turkish art to the world. Starting with brew water marbling workshops, we soon expanded to mosaic lamp workshops in Hong Kong. Initially, we operated out of a rented school's multipurpose room, but our unique and engaging workshops quickly gained popularity, drawing attention from the media and the public. As our workshops flourished, the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 unexpectedly boosted our growth. People, seeking creative outlets during lockdowns, flocked to our studio, which became a vibrant cultural hub—a mini-Turkey in Hong Kong. This success encouraged us to expand further.

Just six months after opening in Hong Kong, we launched another studio in Taiwan with the help of a friend. The reception was overwhelmingly positive, leading to the establishment of three brick-and-mortar studios in Taiwan. Our journey continued with new studios in Canada (Ottawa) and the Netherlands (Rotterdam) in 2020. In 2023, Ibrahim relocated to the USA, and we decided to focus our efforts on this new market. We opened our first studio in Voorhees, New Jersey, followed by locations in Somerset, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, and Manhattan. Today, we proudly serve over 100,000 individuals and 500 companies worldwide, including many Fortune 500 firms.

Beyond the philosophy of unity, we co-organize cultural programs, iftar dinners, and dialogue events with the Anatolia Cultural and Dialogue Center (ACDC). These gatherings bring people from diverse communities to one table, sharing stories and experiences as one heart. Our workshops and events create bridges across cultures and strengthen community bonds. We also host monthly Cultural Nights, introducing traditions from Türkiye and neighboring regions like Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan. Guests can enjoy authentic cuisine, music, and even dress in traditional costumes. It’s a vibrant way to learn, taste, and celebrate culture.
